Valserhone is a beautiful town at the confluence of two rivers, i.e. Rhone and Valserine, at the foot of the Haut-Jura Natural Park, part of the Department of Ain and neighboring the Department of Haut-Savoie in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alps Region of eastern France.
Valserhone is particularly enticing due to the relatively cheap prices of houses and plots compared to the prices in other French towns and villages close to Geneva. It is attractive for people who want to have a property in a picturesque setting that is neighbouring Switzerland.
Several trails allow to appreciate the natural heritage of the town. A walk leading to an amazing geological site Pertes de Valserine and Voie du Tram are on the bucket list for hikers, photographers and fans of stunning natural landscapes.
