The village of Douliana is considered to be one of the best villages that one can find in Crete.
Built on the top of a small hill, the house enjoys views to the sea northwards and to the mountains southwards.
Douliana is surrounded by two deep streams with enormous cypresses and oaks. Under the shadow of these trees you can walk through the streams and visit the caves and the chapel of St.John, which is built on a rock in one of these caves.
The village is classified by the Ministry of Culture as a typical Greek village of extraordinary natural beauty and all of its houses are preserving the same traditional style.
There is a taverna a typical Greek kafenion and a mini market in the village.
The village is only 3 km away from the closest beach and 4 km from the village of Kalives, where there are public services, shops and another beach. The distance to Chania is 25 km, it is 20 km to the port of Souda and 30 km to the airport.
The house is 110 m² with two floors and can sleep 4-5 persons, two bedrooms, two big bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room with a big veranda on each floor where you can enjoy the magnificent view to the sea and to the mountains as well as a remarkable summer breeze, air-conditioning and TV on each floor.
