Il Faro dates back to 1400’s, a structure on the edge of town overlooking the Tyrhennian Sea. Set in grounds stretching over 3000 sq mtrs. The focal point of this unique property is an old watch tower and has been restored to be part of the B&B. Offering accommodation with two bedrooms, bathroom and open plan living. The views from the lighthouse are spectacular.

There are 3 terraces all with sea views which offer ample outside space to enjoy the long hot Calabrian summers.

The main structure of the B&B was built originally in the 70’s. The current owners restored the building 2009 which composes of a living area for the owners and includes a large living room just off from the covered terrace, a separate kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The living room has A/C units. The main building covers 1500 sq mtrs.

A corridor leads to the guest accommodation consisting of 9 rooms all with A/C and private bathroom. The rooms vary in size with some accommodating families of up to 4 people.

The property is being sold fully furnished including equipment for the B&B.

There is an internet service offered to clients.

On entry to the property and to the right there, is ample parking for guests.

Water is supplied from the commune with a fixed cost. The garbage is also a commune service with collection three times a week.

There is a pathway from the B&B down to the sea with an area for sunbathing. There is a bus service during the summer to take hoilday makers to the main beach in San Nicola Arcella.

The property is approximately 3km to the main town and historic centre. During the season San Nicola offers many tourist events and the town offers plenty of restuarants and pizzeria’s.

The vendors have operated the B&B generally by word of mouth and with a passion for the area. For them it’s been more of a hobby than a full time business. With regular returning clients during the summer, the B&B is usually full.
