It is adjoining the neighbour's barn and second home and consists, on the ground floor, of an entrance to an open living room-kitchen (22’6” x 10 ½’) with a stone fireplace, in which a pellet burner was installed less than a year ago. The room has French doors to access the South-facing outdoor decked terrace. To the left of this main room, a ground floor North-facing bedroom (11 ½’ x 11’2”). On the right-hand side of the living room, an old storeroom has been turned into a toilet (8’3” x 3’6”). On the South-facing side of the house, there is a lounge (10’8” x 10’7”).A closed staircase runs up from the kitchen to the converted attic, onto an open room (14’4” x 10’3”), currently used as a bedroom, with high ceilings up to the roof’s ridge. In front of this room, a bathroom (10’3” x 7’4”) fitted with a shower, vanity unit, hot water tank and toilet. On the left, a spacious double-aspect loft (22’6” x 11’6”) will make a very nice 3rd bedroom or a games room.The house is fitted throughout, apart from the beautiful solid wood entrance door, with white double-glazed doors and windows and recent solid wood shutters. A septic tank, installed in 2021, is connected to the house.The garden As soon as the fine weather comes, there is only going to be one place where you will spend most of your time and it is the very nice, decked terrace installed by the owners. It is accessed from the kitchen French doors and is big enough to eat alone or with friends. And of course, the view is what everyone is going to want to come and see for themselves! You can see a meadow at the bottom of the valley, the river, shaded by the surrounding woodland, is right behind it. The water is clear and great for swimming. A small rural path, accessible via a gate located at the bottom of the garden, gets you there in less than 2 minutes. The sloping garden of around 7.000 sqft but crossed by a small private path with stairs, allows easy access to and from the house.OutbuildingsRight next to the house, a barn (13’1” x 23’) of floor space is very useful for storing all your belongings or for parking your vehicle (including your motorhome, if it is of medium size), thanks to its door (9’8” wide) and its depth. Otherwise, you can park it in the private car park right in front of the house. The house also has a very rare feature because its cellar, vaulted and stone-built, is located under the actual car park and is accessible from the ground-floor bedroom via a stone staircase which runs under the rural cul-de-sac in front of the house. Attached to the barn, old pig sheds allow for garden tools’ storage. They have a door on the street side, and one on the garden side and there is a covered terrace on the garden side (14’9” x 10’8”).
The house is within the hamlet, which means that there are neighbours. Attached to the house is the barn of a second home and on the pigsties’ side is the barn of a couple living here permanently.
