Near Bargylia, there is a Temple of Artemis. It is believed that rain or snow would fall around the temple but never touch it. There are coins of Bargylia dating back to the 2nd century BCE bearing Artemis Cindyas and Pegasus figures heads. Dorttepe village and the near village of Ucpinar also offer local shops and facilities. A shopping mall is only 5 mins drive away where brand name stores, supermarket, clothing outlets and cafes are situated.
