The pleasure of sipping a glass of wine surrounded by the hills has been recognized since the Hellenistic era, depicted in the funeral sarcophagi found in the ancient tombs in the area. The Festival della Fragola (Strawberry Festival) is a firm fixture in Terricciola. For two weekends in May, the village is enlivened with food stands, music concerts, tastings, exhibitions and shows.
