Message From The Seller

'This has been a truly lovely escape to the French countryside over the past 12 years : breathtakingly beautiful in the summer and the epitome of wood burner-powered coziness in the winter . Beaches , countryside, ports and of course the autoroutes are all very easily accessible. The memorable trips we have enjoyed to Cognac , St Emilion, nearby Bayeux and the French Alps from this amazing base all spring to mind. As do happy dinner parties and barbecues with friends at this lovely house into which incredible light streams in spring and summer simultaneously from front and back . We cannot ever forget the plethora of butterflies annually in the secret garden drawn there by the buddleia and landing on us where we sat , nor the culinary delight of home- made apple crumble warm from the oven made with the Calvados -infused apples freshly picked by us .'
