The complex

Considered to be one of the best complexes in the Las Americas - Los Cristianos areas, Tenerife Royal gardens has quite a bit to offer.

It's situated right on the front of the promenade which stretches from Los Cristianos to Puerto Colon and further and just a few minutes walk from Las Vistas Beach, the beach of El Camison and the famous surfing beach of Las Americas.

Within a 30 second walk you're at one end of 'The Golden Mile' which offers plenty of luxury shops, high quality bars and restaurants and smaller shopping centres.

It has fantastic swimming pools, right in the centre of the complex and although an early build in the area of Las Americas, is well looked after.

Las Americas - The town

Playa de Las Americas is the real centre for the tourist trade of Tenerife and has been since the late 50's early 60's when land that had very little use due to the lack of water and general hot climate was developed with hotels, apartment blocks and sandy beaches.

One of the main attractions of Las Americas is Las Veronicas commonly known as 'The Strip'. This is an area that was once a tranquil road with bars, cafes and nightclubs but over the years has developed into a teenagers and twenty something's paradise.

Apart from the nightlife in Las Americas there is an abundance of water sports both in Las Americas itself and slightly outside, in Puerto Colon.

Restaurants, bars and cafes are a plenty in Playa de Las Americas ranging from typical Spanish tapas bars and restaurants to Thai, Indian and of course British fare.

There are a few miles of golden sandy beaches that can be walked and are popular pretty much all year round.

The many attractions are close to the resort such as the two water parks, Aqua Park and Siam Park, both of which are within a short taxi or bus ride and, depending on how fit you feel on the day, could possibly be walked.

Being a 20 - 25 minute drive away from the airport using the TF1 motorway, it is ideally situated for visitors who land at the South airport. Taxi fares are approximately 25€-30€ for a one way trip.
