A village-home on a mountain, in the heart of Thasos Island; this is a great possibility to combine sea and mountain life in one!



The home

A living area of 160 sqm is split into 2 floors. The ceilings and walls have a wooden finishing, maintaining the traditional and warm atmosphere of the home.



The ground floor holds a spacious entrance area, the bathroom, and the kitchen. The large bathroom is equipped with two sinks, a shower, and a laundry machine. The toilet is located in a separate room, close to the bathroom. In the kitchen, there is a considerable amount of work counters, together with a large fridge and an electric oven-stove. In other words, this kitchen is made to create mouthwatering meals for everyone!



The first floor is reached via a wooden staircase and holds the main bedroom and the guestroom, along with the living room. There is also a separate entrance door to this floor, so it’s reachable from both the outside and the inside.



The house is heated with gas and is equipped with radiators in each room. Air conditioning can be found in the master bedroom and the living room for the summer days.



Outdoors

A door from the kitchen leads to a sunken part of the terrace, creating the nicest, shaded nook for outside dining! An elevated terrace brings the concept of leveled outdoors into the plot, allowing for a variety of activities. The yard is surrounded by plenty of trees and plants and with a fence. There is enough space to park the car in front of the house. The roof was renewed in 2006.



Location

Theologos, which means 'the word of God, is a cozy mountain village in the central part of the island of Thasos, located at the Aegean Sea.



The sea can be reached within only 14 minutes by car. A bus is commuting from the village to the coast as well. An advantageous feature of the elevated location of the village is the refreshing night temperature, as the nights get cooler during the hot summer days. The village is famous for its cuisine and in particular for its meaty recipes.



The island Thasos can easily be reached by ferry from Kavala, which disposes of an international airport. The village of Theologos maintains its tradition and culture, which can also be discovered in the folkloric museum.
