The home

Technical details

The floors are tiled, there is a hot water heater, and the central heating boiler (oil) was renewed in 2019. There is an additional small (5ltr) boiler under the kitchen sink. There are connections to the Samos water supply network, including one to an indoor water tank of over 500ltr. An electric pump ensures enough water pressure throughout the house. The property is well ventilated and has cavity walls on three sides (east, south and west side). There is 3-phase power present, the window frames are replaced (mostly Meranti) and the outside was recently re-painted (2021). The house is connected to the sewer system. Furthermore, there is a new antenna for the reception of Greek TV channels and a new satellite dish as well.

Location

The property is a 5-minute walk from the port of Kokkari, with its generous selection of restaurants and terraces. In a mere 10 minute walk you can arrive at the larger beach of the island, and another 10 minutes from the opposite direction you can arrive at a smaller beach! The airport is only half an hour's drive away and Samos town is just over ten minutes by car. Public transport is also reasonably well organized on Samos, especially in the summer months.
