Overlooked by the romantic white village of Mojacar Pueblo, situated in the foothills of the Cabrerra Mountains, The Playa strip provides an endless supply of evening entertainment in the form of restaurants, bars, and clubs. There are 17km of unspoilt beaches to choose from, a water park, go-karting, and the mini–Hollywood Studios at the Tabernas Desert.

 

Further Afield

To the South, just a short drive away is the beautiful Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata-Nijar, designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, with many hidden coves and beaches perfect for relaxing or enjoying the abundant sea life through snorkeling, scuba diving, or kayaking.

There are many top golf courses within a short drive of the resort including Desert Springs, Valle Des Este and Aguilon.

In the winter months, just 90 minute’s drive will bring you to the top of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the excellent ski resorts. You can also visit the beautiful city of Grenada, with the Alhambra Palace a must-see destination.
