The pretty whitewashed pueblo of Istan, with its quaint tapas bars and restaurants, is 10 minutes away, reached by the most wonderful drive through the mountains with unbelievable views of the Conception Lake. Many interesting walks or drives can be enjoyed starting from the base of Istan, with local Flora and Fauna to be seen throughout the year. The villa is a short journey from the many fantastic golf courses on the Costa Del Sol. Manolo Santana's Tennis Center is a 5 minute drive, with winter skiing on the Sierra Nevada only a 2 hour drive away. The beaches of Marbella, San Pedro or Estepona are nearby together with the many beach bars and restaurants that the area is famous for.

Sierra Blanca Country Club is a gated complex of villas and townhouses with 24 hour security. The Villa is complete with a zoned internal alarm system and all windows and doors are fitted with Andalucian style security grills.
