Vrbanj is only a few kilometres away from the vehicle Ferry port at Stari Grad, operated by Jadrolinija. There are a number of crossings to Split daily and in summer the services is extensive including a night crossing. In addition Jadrolinija operate a daily catamaran service from Jelsa to Split via Bol on the island of Brac. In addition, a new comer to the Island of Hvar to getting from A to B is European Coastal Airlines which run a 13 minute flight from Split airport to Jelsa port. This is a great service and will eventually open up quick and easy access to the dalmatian coast once the company have ports in the other main towns on the islands.
