Cliff and Angela from Nottingham fell in love with St Lucia during a Caribbean cruise and now, after discovering their pensions aren’t performing as well as they’d like, they’ve decided to invest in a property there. Jasmine Harman has the challenge of finding a place that will not only be a sound investment, but that will give them and their family an idyllic holiday home for years to come, all for their £120,000 budget.

This two bed, two bathroomed condo comes fully furnished and boasts a terrace and garden. It also has parking in a secure area. It's on the market with Brown & Co for $200,000.

Property 2:

Two bed townhouse in Marisule

Both bedrooms are en suite in this newly built townhouse set inside a gated community. This is a small development with just 12 units. An added bonus is that the balcony in the master bedroom has uninterrupted views out to the Caribbean Sea. Priced at $190,000 with Paradise Properties St Lucia.

Property 3:

Two bed apartment in Rodney Bay

This corner unit first floor apartment is right on the beach and is set in tropical gardens. The living room, bar and dining area open on to a balcony and is on the market fully furnished. The estate agents are Blue Reef Real Estate with a $230,000 price tag.

Three bed bungalow at Gros Islet

This cosy three bedroomed, two bathroomed bungalow is surrounded by lush gardens offering plenty of space to enjoy outdoor living. There's a covered garage which gives access to the kitchen and general living areas. The large balcony can be reached through the living area, and leads to a spacious wooden deck. Residents can use the facilities of the adjacent Capella Hotel. This property is being marketed by Doubloon Real Estate for the price of $220,000.
