Laura Hamilton

Laura Hamilton is a TV presenter who has been a member of the A Place in the Sun presenting team since 2011. Laura has filmed episodes of the show in locations across the globe, presenting episodes for A Place in the Sun: Summer Sun, A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun and A Place in the Sun: Home or Away.

Laura's bubbly and engaging personality has made her a fan-favourite on the show, and she has helped countless house hunters achieve their dream of purchasing their dream homes using her extensive property knowledge and passion for property renovation.

Laura has renovated a string of properties (starting aged just 19!) and frequently draws on her own experience in the property game when working with her house hunters.

Laura started her TV career presenting for children's TV. Since then, and alongside A Place in the Sun, Laura has presented shows including Cowboy Builder, Fort Boyard and Beat my Build.

Laura's favourite A Place in the Sun filming location is Kefalonia in Greece, and if she could own her own Place in the Sun she would probably choose a Spanish property to stay in whilst filming, although she also loves French properties and has often dreamt of owning a property surrounded by vineyards!

Laura definitely isn't scared of a challenge - she was runner up on ITV's popular entertainment show 'Dancing on Ice' in 2011 and in 2013, just 4 weeks after the birth of her son she learnt to ski jump on the Channel 4 show 'The Jump'. She is in the process of earning her pilot's licence and runs her own business, Lord Roberts on the Green.

Laura says her proudest productions yet are her two children Rocco and Tahlia - they have already seen a lot of the world as they get to travel with her wherever she films!
