Tornareccio is an Italian town in the Province of Chieti in the Region of Abruzzo.
The municipality covers 27.7 km² and has 1753 inhabitants since the last population census. The population density is 63.2 inhabitants per km² on the Municipality.
In the vicinity of the municipalities of Atessa, Bomba i Archi, Tornareccio is located 22 km south-east of Lanciano, the largest city in the vicinity.
Tornareccio is 630 meters above sea level.
The town is one of the greatest centers of Abruzzo to export honey throughout the region and in Italy. The story of the arrival of honey in Tornareccio began in the early twentieth century. The honey festival is in September. The town community festival is at the end of August.
Tornareccio has a long history. The area around Tornareccio, especially the area adjacent to Monte Pallano (based on the discovery of flints), was inhabited since the Paleolithic (from 18-20 000 years ago).
