On the top part of the traditional village of Fourni, Agios Nikolaos, Lasithi, Crete this is a detached house on a private plot of land standing on two floors.
The ground floor consists of a large open plan living room/dining room with a stone fireplace and a fully fitted/furnished kitchen (on a slightly higher level), a guest shower room/toilet and a small storage room.
Marble stairs lead up to the top floor where there are 3 double bedrooms (with AC and fitted wardrobes), a large bathroom with a bathtub and bathroom cabinet and a lounge/sitting room which could also be used as an extra bedroom.
There are radiators in all rooms as the house has a central heating system (oil).
There is access to the flat roof from theis room where there is a good sized storage rooms as well as the solar panel water heating system.

Next to the main house on the ground floor there is a guest room with a small kitchenette which is currently used as storage, there is a BBQ next to this room. A small garden goes round the house with a couple of lemon trees and a few other small trees. At the back of the house there is a storage room/boiler room.

On the lower level there is a basement with access to the village street.

Fourni is within a 1`5 minute drive to Agios Nikolaos to the east and to Elounda to the north east.
The small town of Neapolis is a 10 minute drive to Fourni.

40 minutes to the international airport of Heraklion, Crete.

Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the county Lasithi and is located at the Mirabello Bay, north-east Crete, only 40mins away from the international airport of Heraklion.

Geographically the town is well protected from strong winds allowing sea sports and swimming nearly all year round.

Although Agios Nikolaos has a population of less than 20,000 it has a several banks, supermarkets, shops of every kind, doctors, a modern hospital of high standard, public swimming pool and tennis courts, yacht marina, harbour, cinema, theatre, gyms, a 9-hole golf course, schools ranging from nurseries to 6-level high school and generally all the amenities you would expect to find in a large modern European town.

The microclimate is one of the best in Greece and the moderate temperatures rarely exceed 30c in summer or fall below 15c in wintertime. This wonderful dry climate together with the natural beauty of the area has attracted most of the high class hotels of Greece to operate here.
