An old olive press in a private location on a large plot of land bordered on both sides of the property by a stream with lots of water, the plot comprises of a mix of agriculture and forest within walking distance to the village.
The land is spread along from flat terraces to forest, divided by stone walls: with different types of trees, such as pines, olives, oaks.
The olive press will need a complete restoration and is built with a mix of stone and wood, located in a corner of the lower terrace with the stream just outside the main entrance. Also across the stream there is another terrace and it will be perfect to build a little wood bridge to walk between the two terraces, even there you can find a safari road around it, giving access to the southwest of the land.
The property is accessed by a maintained tarmac road, leading down to a small village and just a short driving distance to the main town with all facilities: health centre, coffee shops, supermarket, B&B, bank, post office, restaurants, cycle/kayak hire and weekly market.
The property is located not far of the popular N2 route, which connects the north and south of Portugal, and which became a touristic reference for travellers and adventurers who wish to learn more about Portugal.
The region is surrounded by forest, water, valleys and river beaches such as the Cabril dam and Mega, perfect for water sports and fishing.
