The spacious condominium is ideally located in the village of Foz do Arelho on the Silver Coast of Portugal. It is a small condominium development of four detached villas with a shared swimming pool. From the villa you can walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops in the village.

The villa itself comprises of, on the main level, a large living room/dining room, fully fitted kitchen with a pantry, a guest bathroom and a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms.

There are large terraces and balconies all around to enjoy the views over the countryside and village.

The house is accessed by way of double gates to the front that open and allow pedestrians to access by way of a path that leads to the back of the condominiums where this property sits. There is also an electronic driveway gate that opens and leads directly to the rear of the property where there is parking for two cars.

The front door opens into an entrance hall where double full panel glass doors, open into the spacious lounge/dining room area. This is a very light and airy room that has large double sliding patio windows to the front and the side, flooding this room with natural light. The floors are tiled in an attractive light tile. There is a central heating radiator to the side.

Off the hallway double full panel glass doors open into the large, fully fitted kitchen. There are a range of base and wall units with the base units consisting of cupboards and large deep drawers. Outside
Large balconies extend around this property so there are lovely areas to sit whether you enjoy direct sunlight or prefer a little more shade. There are views over the adjoining countryside and the village from all balconies.

Location
This lovely home is located in the village of Foz do Arelho. Foz is one of the most popular villages on the Silver Coast, here in Portugal. It therefore makes this property a great home to enjoy on a permanent basis, a perfect lock up and leave holiday home or an investment to rent out as an income producing property.

The village of Foz do Arelho has several mini markets, cafes, restaurants, bank, hotels, as well as one of the most scenic and beautiful beaches in the area. The beach area is lined with a selection of cafes and restaurants. One one side there is the ruggedness of the Atlantic Ocean and on the other the safety of the Obidos Lagoon, making this a safe beach for families to enjoy. There are many outdoor activities carried out here including wind surfing, kayaking, sailing and other water-sport activities. There is also a sailing school where you can take lessons and rent equipment.

The town of Caldas da Rainha is a 15 minute drive. Caldas is a lovely town that is large enough to provide all you need while still maintaining a welcoming and vibrant community feel. In Caldas there are an unending array of cafes and restaurants, catering to every taste, including vegan, gluten free and other dietary preferences. Caldas has hotels, shopping centres, cultural centres, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, doctors, dentists, two hospitals, schools for every level. There is also a fabulous centre park where there is usually some form of entertainment taking place. There are often art displays here; once a month there is a fabulous outdoor antiques and flea market that stretches throughout the entire park and makes for a great day out. There is a duck pond in the park where you can rent boats and there is also a children’s play area.

There is a daily fruit and vegetable market in Caldas where you can buy wonderful and fresh local produce as well as fresh baked bread, cheeses, pulses, beans, nuts, dried fruit, beautiful and colourful fresh flowers, baskets and many other local artisan products. There are several cafes directly off the market to enjoy a relaxing coffee while picking up your produce. A Monday market covers a huge area and at this market you can expect to be able to find pretty much anything for the home or garden.

Lisbon and Lisbon Airport are approximately one hour away. A regular bus service runs from Caldas da Rainha to Lisbon. The high speed trains run from Lisbon down to the Algarve.
