All have fine restaurants and there are many vineyards in Cortona and Montepulciano, and a little further the Brunello of Montalcino.

Lake Trasimeno has marinas and water sports, walking and cycling activities - about 20 minutes away.

The Etruscan hill town of Cortona, with artworks, museums, unique shops and first class restaurants is only 10 minutes by car.

For the more serious shopper the Val di Chiana Outlet Village is easily accessible by car.
