An historic four bedroom detached manor house with 9,300 square metres of land for sale near Torres Novas in central Portugal. The property is situated within a small village and is within walking distance of all amenities.
The property has many original features including internal and external wooden shutters, stone window and door surrounds, metal hardware, ceramic tiled floors and vaulted wooden ceilings. The property is in excellent condition with a new roof, new water pipes and has been totally rewired. Central heating radiators can be found to give background heat if required. Energy rating on this property has been given an outstanding 'A'.
The manor house is set over one floor though the adjacent barn and storage buildings are set over two floors. The property has wooden framed windows and doors and has internal wooden shutters as well as exterior wooden shutters, all of which are in good condition.
The main entrance to the manor house is via a set of double opening wooden panelled doors with small windows that open for fresh air. These lead into a vestibule which has a ceramic tiled floor and panelled wood ceiling. Off this entrance hallway there are three sets of double opening wooden doors, all of which have glazed panels above flooding the rooms with natural light.
One of these doorways leads into a living room. The living room has a hard wood floor and wood panelled ceiling. The living room also has a second set of double opening wooden doors which lead into a secondary hallway, which runs the length of the manor house, the ceiling has been fitted with two light tubes adding more natural light to the area. The living room also has a fireplace where a cassette log burner has been installed within a polished stone surround, and an ante-room adjoining, utilised by the owners as a dining room. This dining room has a wooden floor and ceiling and double glazed French doors leading onto the front garden .
There is a Study off the entrance hallway. This room has a hard wood floor and a traditional vaulted ceiling in wood. There is a cassette logburner fireplace with stone surround and the windows (two sets) have internal and external wooden shutters.
There are two further double bedrooms accessed off the second hallway. Both of these bedrooms have double glazed windows, wooden floors and wood panelled ceilings. One of the bedrooms also has a vestibul which the owners use as a dressing room, which provides access to the bedroom via an archway.
There is a modern style bathroom, which is partially tiled. The manor house comes with a large, two storey barn, which can be accessed internally from the manor house via a set of double opening, part colour glazed wooden doors.
The barn is set over two floors. The first floor of the barn has been utilised by the current owners as an entertainment room. The entertainment room has an open beamed roof and is double aspect and has a wooden floor. Off the entertainment room there are a further two double bedrooms, both of which have wooden floors and ceilings.

The historic town of Tomar is 15 minutes drive from the property which is famous for its Knight Templar castle and monastery and the popular reservoir of Castelo do Bode is around 25 minutes drive.
Although the property is situated in a village is it private and peaceful with good views to the countryside
