A community is set up between the four neighbours and this works out to around three hundred euros a year for pool and general maintenance of the communal areas.

It is about half  an hour's drive to Pampaneira and Capileira, two of the highest mountain villages in all of Spain, and about 20 minutes away from the spa town of Lanjaron with its healing waters. Granada is just a 50 minutes’ drive to the north, while the nearest beach is at Motril at an approximate driving distance of 35 minutes. Malaga and its international airport are approx. 90 minutes away
