The Herdade das Ferrarias is located in the area of influence of the alqueva dam reservoir, in the municipality of Mourão and Évora district, about 3.1 km north of the N256, 6.2 km north of Mourão and near the border with Spain, bordering in about 7 km with the reservoir.
