This stunning Tuscan villa is located in the Lucignano municipality, a town near Arezzo. It recently joined the Association of the most beautiful Italian Borghi ('villages') and is a fascinating small Italian town, generally fortified and dating back to the Middle Ages or the Renaissance era.

Lucignano sits on a hill in the Val di Chiana, a mostly hilly valley well known for its extremely high-quality olive oil and wine production. This valley stretches on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. It is the very heart of Italy and its culture, for it is in Arezzo that Francesco Petrarca, Michelangelo and many other Italian artists were born. Lucignano is a gorgeous traditional Medieval town, dotted with many gorgeous churches and ancient buildings, cobblestone alleys and cozy restaurants.

Only 5km away from this property you can also find the Valdichiana Village, a large shopping outlet well connected to the A1 motorway and visited by people from all over central Italy.

The Villa
