Polemi is ideally situated between Paphos and Polis – Paphos being 22kms away and Polis 20kms.
The Tulip village has three restaurants, three coffee shops, two supermarkets and a couple of kiosks. The school in Polemi serves the surrounding villages too with buses bringing the 4-18 year olds in daily. Polemi has many churches, the oldest being the church of Panagia Chryseleousa which was built in the 13/14th century and is now a protected building.
In Polemi, you can while away the hours admiring the fantastic mountain views, or take in a round of golf in nearby Tsada or why not try to land a fish or too at the nearby Evretou/Kannaviou Dams. If you’re more interested in the history of the village, visit the cultural centre which was built in the 1100s and has been renovated with many ancient artefacts (Metohi).
Polemi is a thriving village with a couple of Mini markets, a bakery, couple of restaurants a pub a flower shop and even couple of wineries. There is a bigger wine warehouse built (Sodap) on the outskirts of Polemi and if you drive around, you can see why a bigger winery was needed. Everywhere you look there are vines.
