Originally an old olive press, this house has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The walls are thick and solid, the exposed wooden beams ancient and enormous. The renovation has been carried out sympathetically, making maximum use of the space and light available.

The main entrance is on the ground floor via a small courtyard. This leads into a large room which could be divided to create an extra bedroom. This level also has another large bedroom and a well designed roomy bathroom. At the end of the bathroom is a storage area, ideal for conversion to a utility room.

A wooden staircase leads up to the lovely comfortable sitting room with large windows looking out to the garden. Attractive wooden floorboards and exposed wooden beams add to the character of the room, together with the cast iron wood burning stove in the corner.
A further doorway leads into the master bedroom - an enormous room with plenty of room for an en suite bathroom if required.

The kitchen is located off the living room, fully fitted with modern units, there is a wooden ceiling and large windows looking out onto the driveway and the garden. Also in this entrance/kitchen area is a conveniently placed spacious shower room.

The garden is large and well looked after, with a gravel driveway leading up to the parking area. Mainly on one level, there is plenty of space for children to play or for a good sized vegetable patch. Much of the garden has been paved for ease of maintenance, and the present owners have an inflatible swimming pool on one of the patios.

All in all a very well cared for and designed house, in a lovely area of one of our favourite villages.
