Probably the nearest place to swim is going down to Kalavros and Tigania Bay, via 5 km agricultural road. Here there are a couple of pebbly beaches. Otherwise, Sitia has beaches of course.

The house is less than 100 metres from the main road via good agricultural road. The area is part of the Geopark system and the famous Richtis gorge and waterfalls is a 5 minute drive away. Exo and Mesa Mouliana have tavernas and small supermarkets. The house is approx. 500 metres from Exo Mouliana and it is 3 kms between the two villages. Sitia city and airport is at 16 kms; Aghios Nikolaos at 52 kms and Heraklion airport at 110 kms.
