Full Description

Farmhouse with 3 Hectares (30,000 sqm) of Land & Panoramic Views

The location of the property is at the end of the road (council maintained) in the Abruzzo countryside, 6 km from the town center. There are fantastic views all around the property.

This property is a semi-detached. The smaller side of the property next door is not being used.

Both sides of the property require restoration work. Or the property could be demolished and a new creation put in its place on this plot of land.

There is a well on the land, near the outbuilding.

On entering the property there is a kitchen with fireplace on the right. On the left there is a lounge. Between these 2 rooms there is a central marble staircase.

Adjoining the lounge, there is another large room and another door leading into the garage.

Upstairs, there is a bathroom space, 2 large bedrooms with balconies and a large roof terrace.

From one of the bedrooms, there are stairs upto the attic room.

There is electricity and water are connected to the mains supply.

The previous owner had plans for a massive attic conversion. So there are a lot of options to expand the property if desired.

Atessa is an municipality in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo, south-eastern Italy.

Atessa is a town with medieval buildings in the old town and modern buildings in the newer part of the town. It is surrounded by the natural scenery. Atessa is steeped in historical and artistic heritage. There are many industries in Atessa that emerged between the seventies and eighties, which brought the town economic success. Atessa evolved from a purely agricultural and handicrafts to an industrial town, without giving up a strong identity that makes Atessa a real gem, to discover and to live.

The history of Atessa dates back to the fifth century AD, immediately after the fall of the Western Roman Empire.

In addition to the many churches, there are countless civil architectural heritage buildings including the Town Hall, which was a former Dominican Convent, Palazzo Spaventa and Palazzo De Fra.

There are two ski resorts nearby. One is called Passo Lanciano and the other is called Roccaraso Ski Pass. Roccaraso is the largest ski resort in the Apennines and is an 1.5 hours drive from the property.

Lake Bomba is 50 minutes drive away and the sandy beaches of Le Morge are 30 minutes drive away.

The nearest airport is Pescara Airport which is 1 hour away to drive.
