This house is found in a small medieval village about 25 kilometers from Lucca with gorgeous views over the Serchio Valley. A few kilometers on the other side of the river turning left, you will soon find signs for the beautiful town of Barga, and turning right for the Spa town of Bagni di Lucca. Continuing the road from Bagni di Lucca it will take about half an hour to the Abetone ski resort.
The nearest municipality is Borgo a Mozzano, where you can find everything; restaurants, a supermarket, banks, post office, a public pool, butcher etc.
Up here life goes on quietly with the forests nearby for hiking or picking mushrooms, maybe while you're hiking. If one likes spending time in the nature, but not being all on one's own having people around, this is the perfect place to be!
Walking in to the house there's the kitchen/taverna (5.88 m x 8.28 m) with a pizza oven, fire place and even a bar, and everything necessary for preparing a great meal for family and friends. The bathroom is currently on the ground floor but it would be extremely simple to convert one of the first floor rooms into a second bathroom.
