It is one kilometer from the National Road giving easy access to nearby beaches and both Rethymno and Chania. Vrysses town is one and a half kilometers and has the local town hall, tavernas, bakery, butchers, supermarkets, bank, dentist, doctor, post office, florist, garages etc. Coach station with links to Chania, Rethymno and the south coast.
