There are 3 big supermarkets, a station and excellent restaurants.

On the ground floor is a fitted kitchen/breakfast room ( 25m2) with cream wall and floor units, a gas Aga and traditional terracotta floor. The owners have installed a built-in oven and hob for periods when the Aga may not be fired. There is a laundry room of 5m2, a separate WC and spacious dining room of 28m2. We sometimes forget that France is easy to reach from the UK by car and train as well as by air. If you want to fly then there are 2 airports local to this property - Bordeaux (a little over an hour) and Bergerac (30 minutes). However it is perfectly possible to take the TGV to Angouleme or Lilborne and then a local train to Mussiden. Or, perhaps you would prefer to drive (8 hours from Calais and the Channel Tunnel).
