This Andalucian house is in the popular small town of Alhama de Granada and is close to a pretty plaza and with bars and shops all within easy walking distance.
The house is set over two floors on a corner plot, and has been designed to easily be used as two self contained units. This makes the house a great investment opportunity for anyone who wants to either have a holiday home for private use with a rental property for income or someone who wants to live permanently in Spain and have a rental income too.
As you enter the house the hall has an additional lockable door which leads to the ground floor apartment. The stairs off the hall lead to the upper floor apartment and they have a lockable gate on them. The house could be easily reconfigured to make one larger home.

Ground Floor:
A full length, glass double glazed, lockable door leads to a large vestibule with under stair storage. To the left of the vestibule is a kitchen with chimney where the current owners have put their stove. This is a working chimney and a wood burning stove or pellet burner could be installed here. The kitchen is basic but functional though any new owner would want to put something more modern in. Off the kitchen is a shower room plus a bedroom. To the right of the vestibule is a sitting room with a bedroom off.
Top Floor:
Through the lockable gate and up the stairs the house has been divided into three bedrooms, a bathroom, small kitchen and a sitting room/dining room. It’s a little old fashioned and would benefit from an update. The kitchen has been designed for guest use so is very basic.
Via the smallest bedroom is a staircase to the roof terrace. This terrace has a water supply as well as a covered section and there are some mountain views as well as views over the town.
Suggestions:
1. make the house one bigger home by removing a few walls and enlarging some rooms. You could still have three or even four bedrooms plus a much bigger sitting room and an office.
2. Keep the house as two apartments but improve the styling. Reduce the upper floor apartment to two bedrooms and make the sitting room much bigger so the access to the terrace is off the sitting room not off a bedroom.
