This mid terrace village house is in the small but historically important Arenas del Rey.. In the village there are bars, small supermarkets, school, church, doctor’s surgery and weekly market. The village is surrounded by countryside and sits next to Lake Bermejales and close to La Resinera so if you like walking, cycling or bird watchig this is a fantastic area for those activities.
The house is complety empty and has been mostly renovated but there are options to change the configuration.
From the entrance is a hall with two rooms off, one on each side. This area could be completely opened up and a much small hall putting in to make more usable rooms. At the end of the hall is a sitting room with stairs up to the first floor. The kitchen, bathroom and patio are off the sitting room. The kitchen still has the old chimney and a pellet burner or wood burning stove could be installed here. Like almost all Spanish village houses there is no central heating. The bathroom is hideous and definitely needs to be re-done but it’s a decent size at 1.80m x 3.15m (approx).
Upstairs are four bedrooms plus a bathroom. There’s a random door in the hallway that separates one bedroom and the bathroom from the rest of the bedrooms. Quite why this is there we don’t know.
The smaller of the bedrooms would make a perfect office. The other bedrooms are big enough to put in a small en-suite.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced village house in a pretty location this house is worth considering.
