This amazing Andalucian cortijo is accessed via a 2km dirt track which is in mostly good condition. The surrounding land belongs to the cortijo and consists of a large plot of olive trees from which the owner accepts an income of 2,200€ a year. This is something the new owner could continue to do and therefore wouldn't have to harvest or sell the olive crop themselves, saving a lot of work!. There is mains electricity with a modern smart meter and well water from a legal well. The gorgeous views over the countryside and your own land are a delight and you will never tire of the view. The property sits at an altitude of approx. 717m and is east facing.
The house is bungalow style and completely fenced. The exterior patio area is set to painted concrete but this could easily be covered with either a stylish tiled terrace or dug up and grassed over. Immediately outside the front door is a tiled and covered porch and we think this could do with being extended edge to edge of the house to make a really pretty frontage.
The pool is around 9x5m with a 1.5m stepped shallow end and a depth of a maximum 2m at the deep end. The standard pump room in underneath the pool and accessed via a metal door next to the walnut tree. Near the pool is a BBQ area with sink, a bathroom and a large storage room or garage. The pool is nicely tiled with mosaic style tiles and the exterior has a shaped stone border.
The house has an L shaped hall with a huge open plan sitting room, dining room, and kitchen with large pantry on the right hand side. The sitting room has a large open fireplace and the kitchen has some nice detailing with a brick arch between the two rooms. The ceilings are high and beamed with smooth plasterwork between. The hot water is via electric water heater, and there is an electric hob with extractor fan, double sink, plenty of cupboard space as well as lots of prep space.
There are four large bedrooms all with double glazed windows with in built mosquito net, roll down blinds and metal security bars. The bathroom has a shower that needs re-tiling, a WC and a sink with mirror over. The second bathroom is outside near the pool.
The water at this cortijo is used just for the house and pool, the current owner doesn’t bother to irrigate the olive trees.
There price is negociable and is the size of the accompanying land. If you want more land or less land there is a deal to be done.
