In historic Cardaillac, one of France’s most lovely "Beaux Villages" of France, are two renovated properties which are for sale either individually or together. Together they would make a superb home plus income opportunity, whereas if you bought either one individually you would acquire a traditional French house in a delightful setting.

Purchased in 2000, the original village house (with blue shutters) has been improved & extended with great care. It has four double bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor and three bathrooms. As with the first house there are doors to a terrace and lovely views to le Fort. Outside are terraces, gardens, a "Solardome" and summer kitchen plus a bathroom. The gardens are terraced with a second Solardome, mature trees and shrubs and outbuildings.

Furniture and furnishings are available, subject to negotiation, for either house. The price quoted in the advert is for both properties. Individually, they would be priced at 140 000€ for the village house and 340 000€ for the farm house - and the owners would be happy to consider sensible offers around these price points.


ABOUT THE AREA

Cardillac is an historic village with a good range of shops and services - for example a boulangerie, village shop , nursery, a cafe / restaurant and a medical centre. The village is renowned as one of the most beautiful in France and has a mediaeval core centred around an area known as le Fort. It is an ideal base from which to run a gite or chambres' d'hotes business. The village is within easy reach ( 8 kms ) of Figeac an historic & delightful market town on the River Cele ( a tributary of the Lot ). The nearest airport is at Rodez, which is just over an hour away.
