This lovely villa with private pool is situated in the beautiful Almyri, an area that has not yet been discovered by mass tourism. From the house it is a five minute walk to the beach and less than an hour's drive to Athens, Corinth and Nafplio.



House and garden



The villa was completed in 2006 and has a living area of 120 m2, divided over two levels. In total the house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. From the roof terrace you have a beautiful view of the valley and the garden. Under the house there is a large basement, which can be converted into additional bedrooms, reading room, laundry room or, if desired, a gym. In 2019 the house has been improved on many small and larger details. For example, the landing on the first floor has been completely refurbished and redecorated, and the electrical installation in the kitchen has been optimised.



The villa stands on 640 m2 of land, with a beautiful Royal Grass Exclusive artificial turf in the garden, so you are assured of green grass even during the hottest summers. Of course, the private swimming pool, of 9.5m x 4m and 1.80m deep, is one of the best aspects of the house. Through the wide Roman steps at the front of the pool you can walk straight into the water. Since construction, the pool has been maintained weekly by a professional pool company.



In 2020, the fencing of the balcony and around the garden were painted. In the garden there is both a water tank and a septic tank. In practice, the water tank is no longer needed, since the house is connected to the local drinking water system of Corinth.



Although the house is right by the sea, it is in the middle of nature, and the garden is part of it. You can see numerous animals around the house, such as owls, hedgehogs, foxes, swallows, geckos and lizards.



Surroundings



The villa is easily accessible. From Athens airport, where flights from all over the world arrive daily and throughout the year, it is just over an hour's drive to the house.



In Almyri you will find a quiet beach five minutes walking away, and a little further down there is a larger beach with a number of beach bars with sun loungers. Furthermore, this region is perfectly situated for various excursions. Within ten minutes you are on the highway to Corinth, and within fifteen minutes in the city itself, and within three quarters of an hour you are in bustling Athens. You can also visit the beautiful beach, casino and exclusive clubs in Loutraki (twenty minutes).



Of course you can also drive the other way; it's an hour to the eye-catching fortified town of Nafplio and half an hour to the amphitheatre in Epidavros. The famous castle of Agamemnon (described in the Iliad of Homer) is fifty minutes away from the villa and the famous Greek wine region of Nemea can be reached in forty minutes.



Rental



The villa is currently rented out during the summer months, without having to advertise it much. Every year there is a lot of enthusiasm for a stay in this beautiful accommodation. Also, the villa is ready for immediate use and there is the possibility to take over the local network of professionals, who currently know and care for the house and its surroundings. Think for example of a caretaker for the house, a gardener and a pool maintenance company.

The house is fully equipped, including air conditioning, washing machine, TV, dishwasher, oven and a large refrigerator. All this, including the furniture, is included in the price.
