They give a beautiful view on Barga's cathedral (Duomo) and the surrounding mountains (Alpi Apuane). This property is just 1.5 km from the centre of the medieval town of Barga. It is only a 20 minutes scenic walk away. Two of the rooms are suites with kitchenettes giving the guests the option of cooking.
The property has lots of character but still has a clean finished. The windows are large with fantastic views, one of the owners is an architect and so certain touches have been put in the house to give it benefit from the natural light. All these windows were put in by the owners and double glazed. Each window has a bug net and, maintenance free shutters.
One of the guest suites is in the ground floor of the house, this used to be a chapel used by the local Valdese Protestant community. The main entrace is on the first floor up 8 external stairs. Here there is the large kitchen with dining room. This area leads out to the large terrace where breakfast is served to guests. There is a delightful cloakroom here as well as excellent storage/boiler room.
The garden is completely fenced so save for animals, it has 25 olives, fruit trees and wysteria. This garden has plenty of space for a pool.
The barn is divided into two guest rooms, one is a suite with a kitchenette, the other is a room which opens out onto a stunning view of Barga.
Even though only 3 of the bedrooms are rented out to guests, all the bedrooms are en-suite. The owners' bedroom suite occupies the corner of the house and has some stunning views, completed with a bathroom and study.
