A rustic style country house, semi detached, in a beautiful, natural area close to Mondron village and within 10 minutes of Periana, with excellent land. 

This country house, dating from 1948, is a typical, traditional style property in a small group of country houses near Mondron village.   There is a concrete country lane to reach the property and the area is peaceful and quiet.  For walkers this is an ideal location, and there is an excellent circular walk from the property across the open countryside.

The house is accessed from the road, via a path past the neighbours, to a gate and onto the front terrace, (it is possible to drive through the gates and park beyond the house) with a little piece of garden to the front.  Past the terrace is a large patio area, along with fenced off fruit tree orchard and a covered area where the current above ground pool is situated.  Beyond, a gate leads onto the beautiful, flat plot of land.  The land is all useable and at the moment a local farmer looks after the ancient, 100 year old olive trees and fruit trees.  There are beautiful areas on the land with ancient carob trees, wonderful shaded areas where one can forget about the existence of the world and all one's worries. It would also be good for anyone wishing to try their hand at a little self-sufficiency!

The fruit trees include mandarins, oranges, figs, an avocado tree, grapefruit and lemon.  The land has natural water from the 'acequia', the ancient natural water channels that network across this entire area distributing water as they have done for centuries.  It also benefits from mains water and the local farmer uses his own irrigation water to irrigate the trees at present.

The house is on two floors.  On the ground floor is a large outside utility room off the front terrace (5 x 2m) and behind it, accessed from the side patio or from within the house is a useful workshop and set of store rooms.

The front door from the front terrace leads into the kitchen, fully fitted (3.5 x 3m) and to the rear is access to the downstairs bathroom (2 x 2m), a 'pet' room (2 x 2) and the rear store rooms.

To the right of the kitchen is the living room (5.5 x 3.5m) with windows to the front.  And there is one bedroom on ground floor level, a quiet, and very cool room in the Summer (3.5 x 3m).  Next door, also accessed from the living room, is an inner hall with stairs leading upstairs.

Upstairs, a landing leads to the large bathroom to the right (1.5 x 3m, plus 2.5 x 2m), a bedroom to the left (5 x 3.5m) and an upstairs living room straight ahead (3.25 x 3m).   A door from this lovely upstairs 'chillout' space leads out to the corridor balcony that runs along the length of the front facade of the house. To the left and right of this room are the remaining two bedrooms (3.25 x 3m and 4 x 3m).
