Potential capacity
Production of olive oil:
A mature olive tree will produce 15 to 20 kilos of olives per year. That would be a possible production of 40.000 kilo olives. For 1 liter of olive oil you will be needing 5 kilo olives. That would be a production of 8000 liter olive oil per year.

Medronho
The Medronho trees are native species which grow on poor soil. A single mature Medronheira tree produces berries to make 30 liters medronho per year. These roughly 2000 trees have the capacity to produce 60.000 liter of Medronho.

Carob
The most valuable tree specy is the Carob tree. The beans of this tree are being used to make a zero-gluten flour which is being used for the baking industry. This flour has the natural taste of cacao and no gluten, which is highly popular in current times. 1 Tree produces 50 to 70 kilos of beans per year, and the current market price for these beans (direct from the land) is 8,- to 12,- per kilo. For this farm that would be 500 trees x 50 kilo =25.000 kilo and 250.000 turnover.
