At the top of the village with parking outside the house for a small car, this 128 m2 house has plenty of outside space with lovely countryside views from its huge roof terrace.

With its terracotta coloured tiles and wooden ceilings with beams, the house has a lot of character. At one point many years ago, it was a cafeneion.

The living room is spacious and has a fireplace with a boiler wood burner which heats the central heating and the hot water in the winter. Triple doors open out to a secluded 9m2 patio with a spiral staircase to the roof terrace.

From the living room there are a couple of steps down to a dining area, which also exits out to the patio. The kitchen is modern and fully fitted including washing machine, large fridge/freezer, built-in oven, separate hob and extractor fan. The kitchen window looks out to the lane.

On the lower level via paved staircase are two bedrooms both centrally heated and one with air conditioning. One has wardrobes. The second bedroom is enhanced by a niche which was once the oven for the house. This bedroom also has central heating, plus air conditioning and exits out to the shaded courtyard. The hallway between the bedrooms also has a door out to the patio.

There is a centrally heated bathroom, step in bath/shower unit, sink and toilet.

Outside the house is an independent room (“man cave”) with cement floor. It has electricity.

From the main patio the spiral staircase ascends to a tiled roof terrace, split level, with really fantastic all around countryside views. One level is shaded by reed pergola.

The house has solar panels and is connected to the main sewage system. Windows are double glazed.

Located at the top of the village road access is via a narrow concrete road that was not intended for motor vehicles, but cars do drive up it and one can park outside the house.

The traditional hillside village of Vrahassi is large and has a small supermarket, several tavernas and cafeneions. Heraklion airport is at 54 kms; Aghios Nikolaos is at 21 kms.
