This is not just any traditional stone house with swimming pool, but a beautifully assembled project of a traditional stone house with outbuildings and a swimming pool and much more. The main house arranged over two floors is approximately 140m² in size and consists of three bedrooms and a bathroom, with a large entertaining space on the ground floor with a kitchen area, living room and dining area. In addition, there is an annexe to the main house of approximately 20m² which has washing facilities and therefore would make ideal additional sleeping accommodation or perhaps a gym or work studio. All principle rooms have air conditioning.

Externally there is a fabulous roofed canopy which serves as a summer kitchen complete with a large fireplace for cooking wonderful alfresco meals. When the going gets hot and too much, the 32m² swimming pool is just perfect for relaxation and chilling out.

The estates consist of some 1,700sqm plot which is located on the backbone of the island of Hvar with far-reaching views towards the island of Brac and Biokovo mountains. The property and its surrounding buildings have been painstakingly reconstructed under the guidance of conservators who also worked on Diocletian’s Palace in Split and the renovation of the Cathedral of Sibenik. The location of the property is under the protection of the Ministry of Culture, and all prescribed criteria have been adhered to during the renovation.

Gdinj is unusual in that it is actually a collection of a number of very small hamlets, in fact, eight of them all amalgamated into one village. It has often been described as a place where the hands of the clock got tired and stopped moving! where time has stood still and one can feel yesteryear and the presence of tranquillity. Gdinj has one or two seasonal restaurants especially in the bays where locally caught fish has to swim three times, once in the sea, once in olive oil and lastly with some local wine! There is also a small grocery shop in the village while further afield in Jelsa supermarkets can be found as well as a doctor and banks.
