Full Description

This 2 bedroom bungalow house is situated in a village 15 kilometers south of the province capital of Agios Nikolaos Crete, Pacheia Ammos.

The village of Pacheia Ammos is known for its large sandy beach and the very good and affordable fish restaurants. There are many shops and amenities in the village which is vibrant all year round as it is a favorite destination for the neighboring towns day offs and weekends.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood of the village within a few minutes walk to the beach, the shops and services. It is a cozy 2 bedroom house (aprox. 700sq ft) with a large front patio (aprox 850sq ft) comprising a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and the two double bedrooms. There is also a storage room in the patio and a boiler room at the back of the house (next to the uncovered private parking space).

The house is ready to move into but could do with a new paint job and a little styling-decorating.

There is oil powered central heating (radiators in all rooms) and an A/C unit in the one bedroom.
There is also a solar panel water heating system on the roof.

The flat roof can very easily be made in to a roof terrace which enjoys nice sea views and also views of the Ha Canyon to the south of the village.

The town of Ierapetra is about 13 kilometers south of Pacheia Ammos.
The international airport of Heraklion is about an hours drive from Pacheia Ammos.

Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the county Lasithi and is located at the Mirabello Bay, north-east Crete, only 45 mins away from the international airport of Heraklion.

Geographically the town is well protected from strong winds allowing sea sports and swimming nearly all year round.

Although Agios Nikolaos has a population of less than 20,000 it has a several banks, supermarkets, shops of every kind, doctors, a modern hospital of high standard, public swimming pool and tennis courts, yacht marina, harbour, cinema, theatre, gyms, a 9-hole golf course, schools ranging from nurseries to 6-level high school and generally all the amenities you would expect to find in a modern European town.

The microclimate is one of the best in Greece and the moderate temperatures rarely exceed 30c in summer or fall below 15c in wintertime. This wonderful dry climate together with the natural beauty of the area has attracted most of the high class hotels of Greece to operate here.
