Detached three bed house (165 sqm) set in the narrow, cobbled lane of a traditional Tuscan village. There is easy car access to the village parking with the last few metres on foot along the lane or it is possible to drive and park by the house. The village is stunning. The houses are mainly of stone, it is traditional and there is quiet and there are wonderful views to the mountains. In the village is a coffee bar and pizzeria and an alimentari (grocer's shop).

The house is on two floors. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, living room, separate dining room, a kitchen with a table in, and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, two further bedrooms and a bathroom. The house is in good condition with traditional features with Tuscan beams and rafters in chestnut wood and terracotta brick arches, wooden window frames and traditional stone stairs. The heating is provided by a LPG boiler and there is also a pellet boiler connected to radiators and a wood stove, both of which are very efficient. Satellite TV system.

The village of Gallicano is a pretty Tuscan village with shops, coffee bars, ice creams and pizzeria. The beautiful town of Lucca can be reached in 30-40 mins, and the arty towns of Pietrasanta and Viareggio on the coast, are both close by. The house is also within easy distance of the ski resort of Abetone, with newly opened resort hotel and spa, perfect for all the family.

Pietrasanta is a town set around a central piazza and flanked with lovely cafes and excellent restaurants. The town has always attracted artists and sculptors and there are many exhibitions held whether in the piazza or in one of the beautiful vaulted halls. Viareggio is set on the sea front with a wide golden beach and art deco buildings along the main street. There is a marina and excellent sailing opportunities. Viareggio is set at the end of the Versilia golden coast and is famous for the spectacular 'Carnevale'. The town of Lucca is a walled historical city that endears itself to everyone who visits. Hidden behind imposing Renaissance walls the cobbled streets, elegant piazzas and shady promenades make it a perfect destination to explore on foot or riding the bicycles offered for rent in many points throughout the city. Lucca has many boutiques, historic cafes and restaurants and the 'anfiteatro' in the centre is perfect for sipping an aperitivo while watching piazza life. The nearby Torre del Lago hosts a summer Puccini festival with evenings of opera set on the beautiful lake.
