The latter is popular for scuba diving, and Second beach is ideal for watersports. While the busiest, especially during the height of summer, is Main beach and this is probably because of its location in the centre beachfront promenade of Altinkum.

Altinkum has many different things to offer every age group, historical places like the ancient Temple of Apollo, all around this area small shops, bistros and restaurants have been restored in keeping with the area, cobbled roads and old fashioned style lights, a must for everyone to visit, especially at night time, pass through this area and you can go to the equally popular Mavisher night markets, a busy hub in the summer months.
