The property is all walled making its grounds very private. There are various seating areas around the garden, perfect for relaxing in. The swimming pool is 10×4 and it is salt water. In the garden there is also an outside toilet so perfect if you are out in the garden or around the pool, this way you don't have to go inside. In the garden there is also a water storage tank so it's great for watering the garden. To the left hand side of the house, there is a garage for the cars and then on top, a lovely seating area above it.
On the ground floor there is a great bar area, excellent for entertaining family and friends. To the right is the kitchen diner, a spacious lounge, the two bedrooms and a good sized family bathroom. On this level is where the boiler room is, the central heating is diesel run and has a big enough tank to get you through the winter.
This bottom level is completely independent from the upper floor so if you shut the interior staircase door, it turns into a self-contained apartment.
Going up stairs, we come into a snug area which is being used as an office space. There is plenty of natural light as there are sky lights in the roof. In this division there is lots of storage space.
Off of the snug area, we have the kitchen which would have space for a dining table. The kitchen has access out onto the balcony.
Down the side of the kitchen there is a corridor that leads to a large bathroom, two good sized bedrooms and the lounge area. The lounge has a lovely wood burner with a spectacular stone surround. Off of this floor you can really appreciate the excellent views over the countryside.
As mentioned earlier, the house is equipped with diesel central heating. It also has double glazing which has a wood affect, helping it do blend in better.
Over all, this property is very spacious and has plenty of storage space. It's modern but still maintains some rustic features.
The property is located in the village of Chãos where there two cafés and a minimarket. There is also a weekly market on Sunday's that sells fresh, local produce.
The town of Ferreira do Zêzere, which is the district capital, is around 17 kilometres from the property. Ferreira do Zêzere has several supermarkets, banks, schools, bus station, shops, builders' merchants, restaurants and bars. The larger, historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO world heritage listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately 15-20 minutes' drive from Chãos.
Tomar is a popular town and has all modern day amenities including supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, library, schools, university, cinema, weekly market and a hospital.
The property is easy to locate and has good access links to the IC3 Tomar to Coimbra road. The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' by car.
