This house was the owner’s building project over a number of years and was restored lovingly with attention to detail. The delightful thing about many of these houses, is the layout and this is no exception. The kitchen is central to the entire house accessed from the other rooms making the house very flexible to live in.
There is a gated front garden with a few steps up to the main entrance. One walks in a lovely kitchen with rooms off it. Currently these rooms are a study, a large sitting room with access to the covered terrace for ‘al fresco’ eating and a dining room which used to be the original kitchen of the house and still has a sink and fireplace.
There is internal access to the large cantinas where the water heater is.
There are very nice wooden stairs going up to the large landing with the three bedrooms. There is a second covered terrace on the first floor. The bathroom is very modern with a rain shower.
The village itself is noted as it was written about by Dante Alghieri. It has lots of character and art as well as a grocery store and a surgery.
