The fish van visits on Wednesday's and provides a really good selection of fresh fish.

The town of Caldas da Rainha is a 17 minute drive. Caldas is a good sized town with a fabulous town center filled with a variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. There are also cultural centers where there is a regular program of music, theatre and performing arts in addition to various events. There is a daily fruit and vegetable market where you can purchase local produce, fruit, vegetables as well as cheeses, breads, flowers and a variety of other local items.

On Mondays there is a large market where you can buy almost anything for the home and garden.
Rio Maior is a 14 minute drive away. Rio Maior is a good sized town with supermarkets, shops, banks, health centre, dentists and has a lovely centre park with a park cafe where you can sit and enjoy a local glass of wine while watching the activities of the town go on around you.

A 7 minute drive will put you in the village of Santana. On Sundays Santana holds one of the biggest and most popular general markets in the area. You can buy almost anything for your home and garden here as well as enjoy and indulge in some of the local wines.
Lisbon and Lisbon Airport are less than an hour away.
