CASA PARADISO is situated in the countryside near Casoli. The position of the home affords panoramic, uninterrupted vistas directly to the Maiella mountains.

An irrigation system with drippers is in place and there are 4 water storage tanks hooked up to it. There is also a 2500 meter tank that feeds into the house directly aside from the mains.There are 80 olive trees (optional).

There is a wooden gazebo alongside the pool and a large sturdy wooden cabin usable for storage and gardening equipment. There is also a gazebo off the lounge.

There's a young orchard of approximately 20 fruit bearing trees.

The house has a generator wired up to it, so that it is self sufficient if ether the water or electricity goes off, which can happen for short periods when the council is working on pipes.

There is a columned front tiled verandah that runs across the front of the house.To the side off the main bedroom, with a view directly on to Casoli hilltop town and castle, is a wooden deck with an open air bath which is totally private.

This is a home which has been immaculately maintained and is built for living in comfort and style. It's ready to move in and you don't have to alter a thing.

The closest shop is just 3 kilometres away, and 5 minutes away is a small shopping centre with coffee shops, Eurospin, Aqua Sapone, a butcher, clothing etc. Casoli hilltop town has a population of around 6000 people. There you will find pharmacies, a hospital, selection of supermarkets, fish shops, clothing and electrical shops.

There is a huge and excellent selection of restaurants and bars between 5 mins to 15 minutes away.

You need not restrict yourself though as the beach is 25 mins drive and is teaming with seafood restaurants. There are blue flag beaches on the Adriatic coast and a choice of stone, sand or naturist beaches.

There are literally hundreds of towns and villages within an hour and a half radius

CASOLI - CHIETI PROVINCE

Casoli is a charming medieval town of 5,826 inhabitants. It has commanding views over the Aventino River and is one of the prettiest towns in the area for strolling through the delightful old streets. The castle is at the highest part of the town and provides wonderful views of the Maiella National Park and its magnificent mountain peaks.

The town has many shops and a large market every Friday, which is full of local produce including cheeses and craftwork. There are even hot food stalls selling porchetta and chicken. After a busy morning's shopping, there are lots of bars and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy local wine and cuisine.

The surrounding area can be discovered on foot, bike or car. The nearby Lago di Casoli is a manmade lake with a picnic and barbecue area. It also has a lovely restaurant which overlooks the water. The mountains are still home to bears, wolves, chamois deer and birds of prey.
