Location

Set in the glorious open countryside of rolling hills and olive groves between Periana and the A7 main road, close to the small hamlet of Los Marines, the property has no dirt track, as it is just off a concrete country lane. It is about 5 minutes from the village of Mondron (with two shops and a bar/restaurant) and 10 minutes from the larger village of Periana. Equally, it is around 5 minutes to the main A7 road, which runs down to Velez Malaga (around 20 minutes) and the coast at Torre del Mar (25 minutes), or up towards Riogordo (15 minutes) and to the A45 motorway which is a fast route to Malaga city (45 mins max).

The house and gardens

Situated in a plot of just over 1000m2, the living quarters is on one single level, on the upper part of the plot, with a large garage/store area below on the lower level. Also on the lower level is the pool and most of the low maintenance garden. There are two gated entrances, one on the upper level with parking within the grounds on the same level as the house, and the other, the main entrance, on the lower level, with parking and direct access to the garage and store room.

The living quarters has a beautiful terrace, with magnificent country views. The open terrace (2.7 x 8m), leads, through a wide archway, to the covered terrace (16m2). From here the front door leads into a hallway. To the left, double doors lead into the very spacious living room/dining area (7 x 4m), with a door to the fully fitted kitchen beyond (4 x 3m). The kitchen has a door leading out to the rear (upper level) outside area.

From the hall is access to the family bathroom, plus the two double guest bedrooms, (3.5 x 3m and 3.42 x 2.93m), and the third (3.47 X 3.47m) with ensuite bathroom (2.2 x 1.4m).

Outside the 8 x 4m pool has Roman style steps leading into the water and plenty of terracing for sunbathing and outside dining.
