Becici, a town within Budva, is considered to have one of the best beaches in Montenegro, a beach with a blue flag, one of the cleanest beaches in Europe! The beach is the crown jewel of Becici—with some parts of the beach an impressive 100m wide, the area is loaded with different activities and offerings, even for the most imaginative visitors.
The beach at Becici is itself around 2km long and has several streams running across it into the sea. These streams are active only in the winter, and the riverbeds are virtually unnoticeable during the summer months. These streams are as much a part of the beauty of this beach as the pebbles, the sand and the sea— perhaps this is why the Hotel “Splendid” at Becici was featured in the 2006 James Bond film, “Casino Royale”.
